Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute

CCAI, a Washington, DC-based non-profit, raises national awareness on adoption and foster care issues by shaping legislative agendas and developing programs to directly benefit children in need of homes.

CCAI initially retained Global Thinking to refine the group's strategic plan and organizational identity. This process began with a series of internal strategy sessions, followed by competitive research and interviews with key supporters as well as the people directly affected by CCAI's work.  The end result was a new multichannel outreach plan, including new fundraising targets, refreshed messaging and improved creative direction.

In follow up assignments, Global was charged with developing and implementing the communications plan for CCAI's largest annual fund raising venture, "Angels in Adoption."  The plan comprised multi-stage direct mail and email campaigns followed by focused telemarketing efforts.  These new tactics delivered better results at lower cost than previous years.

Global Thinking is continuing its work with CCAI, with a renewed focus on campaign planning, client relationship management, and search engine optimization.
